Janelle Jordan was born in Bronx, New York, and raised in Orangeburg, South Carolina. She is the daughter of Sandra Jordan and Reverend Andrew (late Shirley) Jordan. Janelle is the youngest of three girls from this union. Her older siblings are Anjelica Jordan-English and Janese Jordan. Janelle is the proud aunt of five nieces and nephews whom she considers her own: Imani Williams, Jamari Williams, Javon Williams, Amaris English, and Arielle English. Also, a brother-in-law, Joel English.
After graduating from Orangeburg Wilkinson High School as an honor student and student-athlete, Janelle was enrolled at North Carolina A & T State University. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering. She later earned her Master of Business Administration Degree in General Management from Troy University and her Doctor of Business Administration Degree in Leadership from Liberty University.
Janelle has over fifteen years of experience, primarily in a corporate manufacturing environment, working in various locations and capacities, with entrepreneurial experience. Most of her professional career has been in the management realm, where she has mentored and developed talent within organizational structures.
Outside of professional experiences, she has served as an Assistant Coach for Varsity Girls’ Basketball at Orangeburg Wilkinson High School. While there and beyond, Janelle has mentored several young ladies outside the facets of basketball towards achieving their personal and professional endeavors. Janelle is also a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.
