Angie Birmingham is an award-winning photographer who discovered her love for the outdoors as a teenager shortly after her family moved to Lake Tahoe. Her passion for landscape photography broadened into wildlife photography after she became a bird watcher who achieved an annual count of 202 species.
Angie is a graduate of New York Institute of Photography and is nearly done with her Master’s degree at Professional Photographers of America (PPA). Her first publication was in Diesel Magazine. She has been in featured in Focus on Texas Magazine and on their website numerous times. Angie started offering photography workshops and private lessons in the summer of 2019. She does meetups with local photographers in the South Texas area and has a Facebook group called WT F-STOP, which was born when her friends kept asking, “Hey, Angie, what is the F-Stop?”
Through the Lens is Angie’s first how-to photography book. She lives with her husband, Jeff, amid her beloved wildlife in the Corpus Christi area of the Texas gulf coast.
